Winner Winner Chicken Dinner - 6th Annual Almost the Easiest Superbowl Contest on the Web comes to an end

I was going to try and get this up last night, but ended up just passing out.  But we all know who won right?

For me, a guy who had no vested interest in the game, I'm glad it was close, at least up until the end. There were a lot more turnovers than I thought, but in the end I was surprised at how great Denver's defense looked and how soundly they won the game,

Alright the correct pick and all the correct tie breakers:

Denver over Carolina, 34 Points, and 6 turnovers

And when the dust settled we had two players pick the right winning team and pick the correct opponent, but Greg came away with the win by predicting the actual total points scored! Unbelievable!

Adam Kaningher - Broncos over Panthers, 41 points, 3 turnovers.
Greg Zakwin - Denver over Carolina, 34 points, 2 turnovers.
Wilson - Carolina over New England, 60 points, 4 turnovers
Dion's IP Autos only - Panthers over Patriots 55 points 3 Turnovers

For those of you that don't know Greg writes the great blog Plaschke, Thy Sweater is Argyle.
Congrats Greg, I'll be in touch soon.

Now for the rest of you what you've been waiting for the door prize.
After entering everybody who made a guess and adding the couple of people who promoted the contest for their extra entry, I randomized the list at Random.org three times and the winner is......drumroll........

Spankee from My Cardboard Mistress!
Well that was a fun contest, not for this Packer fan, but we had a great turnout and a great ending.  With the NFL season officially done now we can sit back and for those who enjoy the NBA and NHL the second half of those seasons and just over the horizon you can just start to see it peeking out is baseball.

Thanks everybody.

  1. Woohoo! I'm pretty sure I had one of the worst guesses possible, so I completely forgot I had a chance to win something!
