6th Annual Almost the Easiest World Seriers Contest on the Web - Championship Round Up
Here we are. A day away from the start of the World Series. What a crazy if not predictable outcome. It's funny I took a look back at my original prediction which was used to demonstrate the format of the contest picks and I got both teams right! What's even better is that we had 4 people also correctly guess the two teams that will make up this 112th match-up.
Over all we had 14 people pick the Cubs to win it all and two for the tribe. So that's 16 people who made it this far. But of course that means we have to take it to the tie breakers and we had 4 people, 3 for the Cub and one for the Indians, correctly guess the match up. Those people are in Green.
If the Indians win TSHenson wins outright. If the Cubs win we'll have to take it to the next tie breaker, total games in the series. Of which Adam K, Michael O., and defgav all picked different numbers.
Here's a look at the picks coming out of the league championships. Good luck and enjoy the series!
Ugly Duckling - Cubs over Orioles, 7 games, 23 HR

6th Annual Almost the Easiest World Series Contest on the Web - Official Entries Post.
Wow we had a pretty great turn out this year. Thanks to everybody who signed up. This post will serve as the official entries post and if you see that I have incorrectly listed your pick below please let know so I can correct it. We had 34 people enter, not a record, but still a nice entry pool. The Cubs were by and far the most picked team, oddly enough I too picked the Cubs to win. If for some reason we can't find a winner with all the tie breakers all the names of those who guessed correctly, I will randomly pick a winner at Random.com by randomizing the list 3 times, just like how we pick a door prize winner.

6th Annual Almost the Easiest World Series on the Web Official Contest Sign Up!!!
It's here, it's time! The regular season is over and we are off to the sweet sweet time in baseball. Wild Card games start tomorrow, unlike the NFL that has a nice week off between the end of the regular season and playoffs, baseball jumps right in. Even so I'm going to keep the contest open till Saturday, Oct 8th, Noon Alaska time or 4pm EST. I will also allow anyone who is brave enough to pick a wild card team and they lose before the entry period closes to pick another team.
The contest is the same as always and easy. Just tell me who is going to win this year's World Series. But of course we have to have a few tie breakers. So I also want to know who you think their opponent will be, how many games the series will go, and total home runs for the whole series.
So you entry should look something like this
Cubs over Indians, 5 games, 12 HRs.
Here are your choices
American League
Boston Red Sox
Cleveland Indians
Texas Rangers
Toronto Blue Jays
Baltimore Orioles
National League
Washington Nationals
Chicago Cubs
LA Dodgers
NY Mets
San Francisco Giants
What's the prize you ask. You'll get a nice assortment of cards from your favorite team and anything else I can find to throw in. Unfortunately most of my collection is now in a storage unit, since we are trying to sell our house, so I can't really say what will be in the prize package.
Like always there will be a door prize winner just for playing. I'll randomize the list of entries 3 times and the guy or gal at the top gets the prize, also TBD.
And don't forget to pimp and promote this contest, by any means: your blog, twitter, snapchat, instagram, whatever you like, it'll get you a second entry into the door prize contest. Just leave me a link to the pimp.
Alright boys and girls time to get predicting. Good Luck!!
