Fan Packing across the USA - Royals vs. Orioles

Yep going to do another heads up.  Probably not fair, but life ain't fair.
I got fan packs from the Royals and Orioles pretty much back to back days so lets see what we have inside.
First up the Kansas City Royals

A nice form letter from the front office.  The Kansas City Royals lettering up top is gold foil. Very classy.

There was also a K Crew temporary tattoo. 

A 2012 Royals schedule, featuring Eric Hosmer, Mike Moustakas, and Alex Gordon.

And an application for the Sluggerrr's Blue Crew Kids Fan Club.

A couple of stickers.  And these stickers are big. Very nice.

And a player card of Wilson Betemit.  This is larger than the 2x3 regular card size, but smaller than post card size.  And it's even got stuff on the back.

I wasn't familiar with Betemit, so I looked him up online.  He's been in the majors for over 10 years and played for just about everybody.  I kid, but Wilson has played for the Braves, the Dodgers, Yankees, White Sox, Royals, and Tigers before signing with Baltimore this year. Betemit is a utility player being able to cover 1st, 3rd and shortstop and so far this year has played in 21 games and had 18 hits, 4 HR's and 15 RBI's not too shabby.

So I think the winner between this fan pack off is pretty obvious, ahem Orioles.  But thanks to both teams for actually sending me something.  

TTM Success Jim Colborn (Former Brewers Pitcher)

For having had quite a dry spell with TTM requests I was happy to get one a few days ago and I got this one on Saturday.
I sent Jim Colborn (Former Brewers, Cubs, Royals, and Mariners pitcher) 2 cards, a LOR, and SASE on 3/19/12 and boy I'm I glad to get these back.  I finally get my first two TTM's from the 70's.  I sent out quite a few 1974, 75, and 76 Topps cards a few months ago so it's nice to finally have a few back.

Unfortunatley the 74 got a little smudged. But still a great signature.

And a really nice 1976.  The card itself wasn't in that great of condition but the autograph looks great!

TTM Success Ned Yost (Royals Manager, Former Brewers Manager/Catcher)

Ever so slowly I'm building my Brewers TTM set.  I had a really nice, extra 1983 Topps Ned Yost laying around. Ned was the Brewer's catcher from 1980 to 1983 and then caught a year for the Rangers and Expos. He was the Brewer's manager from 2003 to 2008 and was fired after the 2008 season disintigrated. But the Royals picked him up as their captain in 2010 and that's were he is today.  

This was a great turn around time too.  I sent the card, with a nice letter and SASE on the 11th or 12th of April and this was in my mailbox Friday the 20th.
