Wow we're  3/5ths of the way done here with the top 100 cards in my collection ( in no particular order).

Since I featured a nice Reggie Patch card from UD Premier yesterday why not a nice Triple relic from my favorite baseball player of all time.  I like the spacing of the relics in this card.  On the outside you have two awesome multicolored patches and on the inside a nice pinstripe relic.  And to top it off it's #d 20 out of 20 so that's an ebay 1/1 right?

Another great multi-relic from the Yount collection.  2008 Upper Deck Premier had some great stuff.  I can't remember when I got it or how much I paid, but being the cheap bastard that I am I'm sure it wasn't much.  Some really nice swatches in this card.  And very low numbered.

I remember seeing these cards and thinking wow that's cool. Of course when I got it in hand and saw that it was a Stamps.com stamp, I was slightly less impressed, but the little multicolored patch on the card makes  up for it, that and it's numbered to 25 and a rookie card!  Plus it Jordy Nelson who is with out a doubt my favorite Packer right now, yeap even more favoriter than Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings, Clay Matthews, and AJ Hawk. Number 47 on the top 100...

Wow #43 already.  Getting close to the halfway point and I find myself digging further and further into the card boxes.  I still have lots of, what I think are great cards, but you'll find now most of them will be from either my player collections or team collections, so a lot of Younts, Fingers, Jacksons, Brewers and Packers. First up we have a great cards from a great set.  You want to talk about parallels, UD Baseball Heroes has tons.  Here we have red autographed relic parallel numbered to 25. I remember winning this auction.  I spent a little more than my cheap ass would have liked to, but I added an awesome card to my Yount Supercollection.  So number 43 on the Top 100 (which is in no particular order)

Whew number 40 already.  Getting close to the half way point and like I said your going to start seeing more and more cards from my team and player collections.  I have to say out of the Packers Jordy is my favorite.  I have a totally hetero man crush on him.  I started picking up his higher end autos and relics back in 2009.  He was mainly a punt and kickoff returner, but I could see greatness in there.  And he had his best game of his short career in the Super Bowl last year.  I guess if you're going to have a career game why not in the big one.  Jordy's card prices have slowly been climbing and I've slowed my grabbing, but I ended up getting this sweet SPx  auto jersey for next to nothing last year well before the Packers were contenders.  Probably pretty close to the beginning of the season after Rodgers got hurt and I thought we were done. The only thing better would have been some color in the swatchs.  Anywho...

The second of my 3 Sterling Quad autos of Mr. Yount and yes all three are going to be on the Top 100.  It's nice that all these cards are numbered only to 10, it's not so nice that Topps put out 1000's of different cards though, or so it seemed.  Still the scan doesn't do this card justice.  2008 was a banner year for this Yount collector with tons of cards issued of the Hall of Famer.  I'm slowly running out of variety in my collection and soon it's probably only going to be sweet cards from my PC's and Team collections like this one.  But for now...

I'm not sure how many of you ever buy anything off of eTopps.  I've been picking up IPO's for about 7 years.  Sadly rarely do the cards keep their value from their initial offer price, but they are some nice cards.  In 2008 Topps offered a Yankee Stadium Tribute set on eTopps.  You had to buy the whole set that was something like a hundred bucks or so, but then you could part it out.  That's where this Reggie came from.  Someone parted it out. I actually got this one in hand and for fairly cheap considering how much you had to put down to get the set.  And of course it's numbered and super shiny.  And encased, hence why the scan is a little blurry.

Why hello again Mr.Yount.  I have to say even though this card is a sticker auto it's still pretty bad ass.  I was hmming and hawing back 2008 about going after any of these card.  Mainly because I'm cheap and these cards are not.  I ended up picking up 3 of these mutli relic auto cards none of which I got cheap.  I did however pick up a lot that included the box, which is really cool, the three sequentially numbered "base" cards and the band that went around the box with Yount's name on it.  All for about what I paid for the other two cards.  In 2008, Sterling was HOF player base and each box which was about 250 bucks a piece contained one pack which had something like this and three base cards and one bonus card that could have been anything, a superlow numbered auto, a superlow numbered base, printing plate, whatever.  There was no way in hell I was dropping 250 on a box of this.  But I did manage to pick up most of the Yount's base cards from the set and I'm starting to slowly pick up the lower numbered parallels for pretty cheap here and there.  I've been watching his Sterling quad relic autos as they come up on ebay and they all seem to be going for what I paid for my three so they're holding their value nicely.  These cards are absolutely beautiful and at least I know I got 4 separate relics in this card, I don't count the apostrophe in front of the 8 I'm pretty sure that's all one piece there.  I have a feeling the other 2 cards might make an appearance on this list as well.

Reggie, Reggie, Reggie.

Oh the second time that Reginald has graced on  the Top 100.  Most likely won't be the last.  I'll be honest I'm not a huge fan of Triple Threads.  I find the relic cards clunky and some of the lettering silly.  Take this card.  10 WS HRS with the letter spacing all mixed up.  Now this card was advertised at 7 relics.  We all know that this isn't true.  Forget the fact that I practically stole this card off of ebay.  There are at most 3 separate relic pieces here and possibly only 2.  There are 7 die cut letters covering the relic pieces, hence the off letter spacing, but there is not seven individual relics on this card. And TTT just looks so similar from year to year, I guess you could argue that as a selling point. Enough ranting.  While I find Triple Threads to be way to over priced for pack breaking I don't mind picking up a few cards  off of ebay or where ever for my PC's.  And to be honest it seems people forget about Jackson.  I picked up this card and another one for dirt cheap.  And it's a multi relic low numbered card of a player I collect, so bully!!!!  Number 17 on the top 100...
